【摘要】:Theexaminationmayprovideabasisforlayingoutinsitutestingoftheconcrete.Thesamplingcanprovidematerialsforpetrographicexamination,inaccordancewithPracticeC856,chemicalorphysicalanalyticalprocedures,oranyofawidevarietyofdestructiveornondestructiveteststodeterminephysical,mechanical,orstructuralpropertiesoftheconcrete.Theresultsofexaminationandsamplingcarriedoutinaccordancewiththispracticemaybeusedforavarietyofpurposesandtoserveavarietyofobjectives,someofwhicharediscussedintheProceduralPlanSection.1.1Thispracticeoutlinesproceduresforvisualexaminationandsamplingofhardenedconcreteinconstructions.Referenceismadetotheexaminationandsamplingofconcreteinprefabricatedbuildingunits,precastproducts,andlaboratoryspecimens.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Inch-poundunitsareshowninparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
