【摘要】:ThisEuropeanstandardspecifiesamethodofassessingthebehaviourofcableinsulationsubjecttoanelectricarcinitiatedandmaintainedbycontaminatingfluidalongthesurfaceoftheinsulation.ThisstandardshallbeusedtogetherwithEN3475-100.Theprimaryaimofthistestis:?toproduce,inacontrolledfashion,continuousfailureeffects,whicharerepresentativeofthose,whichmayoccurinservicewhenatypicalcablebundleisdamagedandsubjectedtoaqueousfluidcontamination.Electricalarcingoccursalongthesurfaceoftheinsulationbetweendamagesitesonadjacentcables;and?toexaminetheaptitudeoftheinsulationtotrack,topropagateelectricarctotheelectricalorigin.Originallydefinedfor115Vacnetwork,thistestalsoproposesconditionsfor230Vacnetwork.Unlessotherwisespecifiedinproductstandard,only115Vacconditionsshallbesatisfied.Sixlevelsofprospectivefaultcurrenthavebeenspecifiedforconcernedcablesizes(seeClause7).Itisagreedthatsizeslargerthan051neednotbeassessedsincetheshort-circuitphenomenonbecomesdominantatlowlineimpedances.Unlessotherwisespecifiedinthetechnical/productstandardsizes002,006and020cableshallbeassessed.
